I Ensure Integrity
Cecelia Crawford is the regional director of evidence-based practice for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. She earned a doctor of nursing practice degree at Western University of Health Sciences in 2012. Crawford credits the online BSN and MSN programs at CSUDH for the knowledge needed for her doctoral success.
As a champion of the nursing profession for over 35 years, Crawford provides leadership and consultation for Kaiser Permanente and safety net hospitals. A major focus of her work is the synthesis of evidence for clinical practice and healthcare programs. Crawford is the founder and director of the Academy for Evidence-Based Practice, where she mentors others in evidence appraisal. Crawford’s vision is to translate evidence so it is meaningful for clinicians and to make the evidence accessible to those who need it – the provider and the patient.
